Born and raised in Europe, Marvin discovered his passion for hospitality long before he understood it as a profession. As a child, he staged hotel check-ins for his grandmother, prepared her room with water and chocolates, and created elaborate breakfast buffets before the rest of the family awakened. During summers in Italy at a hotel on Lake Garda, he was equally fascinated by what happened behind the scenes, rising early to observe and assist with the preparations before guests arrived. Marvin was never drawn only to hotels themselves; he was captivated by how every detail, including those a guest may never see, shapes the way they experience a place.

At just seven, while observing a slowly cleared breakfast table at a German hotel, Marvin requested a tray and cleared it himself. He then announced to his parents that he intended to become the General Manager of a luxury hotel so that such service would never happen under his watch, an early glimpse of the initiative, exacting standards, and commitment to the guest experience that would shape his life.

As he grew, Marvin pursued every opportunity to immerse himself in the hospitality industry, from summer internships in Italy to a prestigious ThyssenKrupp scholarship at age 15, which led to professional experience at a resort in Spain. Following his formal training in German hotel management, he continued his career at distinguished properties including the Carlton Hotel in St. Moritz and Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab, with an additional season aboard a five-star cruise ship. These formative years established the precision, discretion, and exceptional service standards that continue to define his work today.

In 2013, after nearly a decade in luxury hospitality, Marvin transitioned his expertise into private estate management for Ultra High Net Worth families. Moving to Los Angeles, he began managing increasingly complex residences and lifestyles, from intimate city homes to sprawling 80,000-square-foot estates. His experience has since encompassed multi-estate portfolios, legacy ranches, vineyard and mountain estates, Beverly Hills residences, and exclusive beachfront and island properties across the East Coast, Hawaii, and beyond.

Marvin has developed and led household teams of up to 60 employees, overseen large security operations, and managed annual operating budgets exceeding $100 million for a single family. His work has included estate construction and renovations, fine art and vehicle collections, private aviation and yachting, security, household systems, staff development, relocation, and events ranging from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations.

Today, Marvin’s work also extends into complex special projects within a global venture and investment environment spanning quantum computing, photonics, energy, and water. He currently serves as the owner’s representative for the development of a new venture studio and leads the hospitality and operational execution of private gatherings, strategic dialogues, and major international events. His experience includes high-level programming during the World Economic Forum in Davos and convenings bringing together leaders across investment, science, technology, and academia.
